Nests in holes in mesquite trees and mesquite fence posts, and uses leaves of Monisia pallida to line their nests; also nests in trap nests which were plugged with 5mm. of firmly agglutinated sand by this species.

Distribution
Megachile inimica is native to North and Central America, being found in Mexico, Guatemala and the southern United States.
