They are native to Roraima, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Pará, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Minas Gerais, Paraná, ParaíBa, The Contiguous United States, Cerrado, Amazônia, Maranhao, Caatinga, Pernambuco, GoiáS, and Rio Grande Do Norte. They have simple, broad leaves.
