Rhynchospora colorata (Starrush Whitetop) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Long-windged Skipper, Ectemnius rufipes ais, Callicista columella istapa, and Phymata mystica. Individuals can grow to 0.9 m.
