Ruellia (Wild Petunia) is a genus of shrub in the family Acanthaceae. This genus is extinct. They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. Individuals could grow to 20 m. They are facultatively mobile organisms.
