General Description

Colonies. On Czapek agar at 25°C raised, 17-28 mm diam. in 7 days; greyish yellow or olive to olive brown; reverse light yellow to olive brown; exudate colourless; at 40°C with greenish white to greenish grey shades, or white to grey; hülle cells globose, subglobose (17 × 20 μm) or elongate (15 × 26 μm) or up to 38 μm. Conidiophores. Up to 250 μm long. Conidia. Globose to subglobose, roughened, 2.5-3.5 μm wide. Ascomata. Cleistothecial, 400-575 μm. Ascospores. Body 3-4.5 μm (Crests not included), with convex wall smooth and two conspicuously pleated stellate equatorial crests, 3-4 μm wide.
