Ochotona princeps (American Pika) is a species of mammals in the family pikas. It is found in the Nearctic. It is a solitary, diurnal herbivore. Individuals are known to live for 84 months and can grow to 158 g. Reproduction is dioecious. American Pika relies on running to move around.
