Pipistrellus pipistrellus (Pipistrelle) is a species of bats in the family Vespertilionidae. It is found in the Palearctic and the Indo-Malayan Realm. It is an invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 200.4 months and can grow to 5.7 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Pipistrelle relies on flight to move around.
