Dasyprocta azarae (Azara's Agouti) is a species of rodents in the family Dasyproctidae. It is found in the Neotropics. It is a diurnal frugivore. Individuals can grow to 3500 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Azara's Agouti relies on running to move around.
