Long Tailed Musk Shrew

La musaranya de Guinea (Crocidura dolichura) és una espècie de musaranya (Soricidae)^[2] que habita a Burundi, Camerun, República Centreafricana, República del Congo, República Democràtica del Congo, Guinea Equatorial, Gabon i, possiblement també, Ruanda.^[3] Hi ha una certa destrucció de l'hàbitat a gran part del territori on es distribueix. A la part oriental els desplaçats per la inestabilitat social han establert assentaments al bosc.^[3]

The long-tailed musk shrew (Crocidura dolichura) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae. It is found in Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Nigeria, and Uganda.

Distribución geográfica

Se encuentra en Burundi, Camerún, República Centroafricana, República del Congo, República Democrática del Congo, Guinea Ecuatorial, Gabón y posiblemente también en Ruanda.^[1]​

Estado de conservación

Hay una cierta pérdida de su hábitat en gran parte del territorio dónde se encuentra. A la parte oriental de su área de distribución, los desplazados por la inestabilidad social han establecido asentamientos en el bosque.^[1]​

Crocidura dolichura is een zoogdier uit de familie van de spitsmuizen (Soricidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd door Peters in 1876.

Zębiełek długoogonowy^[3] (Crocidura dolichura) – gatunek owadożernego ssaka z rodziny ryjówkowatych (Soricidae). Występuje w Afryce Zachodniej i Środkowej w państwach takich jak: Burundi, Kamerun, Republika Środkowoafrykańska, Demokratyczna Republika Konga, Kongo, Gwinea Równikowa i Gabon oraz prawdopodobnie Rwanda^[2][4]. Gatunek ten zamieszkuje tropikalne lasy zarówno na nizinach jak i w górach do wysokości 2310 m n.p.m.^[2] Długi ogon służy do zachowania równowagi podczas poruszania się w górach^[2]. W Czerwonej księdze gatunków zagrożonych Międzynarodowej Unii Ochrony Przyrody i Jej Zasobów został zaliczony do kategorii LC (niższego ryzyka)^[2]. Nie ma większych zagrożeń dla populacji tego gatunku.

Crocidura dolichura^[2][3] är en däggdjursart som beskrevs av Peters 1876. Crocidura dolichura ingår i släktet Crocidura och familjen näbbmöss.^[4][5] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.^[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[4]

Arten förekommer i centrala Afrika från södra Nigeria till Rwanda och Burundi. Den lever vanligen i låglandet men ibland nås 2300 meter över havet. Crocidura dolichura vistas i tropiska fuktiga skogar och klättrar främst i träd och buskar.^[1]
