Carrhotus is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Tamerlan Thorell in 1891.[4] The name is derived from the Greek Κάῤῥωτος.[4]
As of January 2022 it contains thirty-three species, found in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Brazil:[1]
