Sabal palmetto (Cabbage Palm) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Middle America, United States, The Contiguous United States, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), Eastern North America, and Florida. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Faithful Beauty, Southern Carpenter Bee, Sphex jamaicensis, and Delta Flower Scarab. Individuals can grow to 90 feet.
