Carex buxbaumii (Buxbaum's Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Canada, Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, Eastern North America, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.9 m.
