Carex subspathacea (Hoppner's Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Alaska, Greenland, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
