Eriophorum gracile (Slender Cottongrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.7 feet.
