Guzmania monostachia (West Indian Tufted Airplant) is a species of perennial herb in the family bromeliads. They are lianas. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, The Neotropics, and Brazil. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Green Hermit. Individuals can grow to 4 dm.
