Paspalum coryphaeum (Emperor Crowngrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to Minas Gerais, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, Roraima, Pará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Amazônia, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Ceará, Pernambuco, Bahia, Caatinga, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Alagoas, Mata Atlântica, and Pantanal.
