Stenotaphrum secundatum (St. Augustine Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family True grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Paraná, Mata AtlâNtica, Bahia, Pernambuco, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and Caatinga. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Arabesque Orbweaver. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
