Setaria setosa (West Indian Bristlegrass) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pernambuco, Mata Atlântica, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraíba, Sergipe, Alagoas, Rio de Janeiro, Caatinga, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul, Pampa, Bahia, and Cerrado. It is a photoautotroph.
