Eulophia callichroma Rchb. fil.

Terrestrial herb, up to 50 cm tall. Pseudobulbs mostly above ground, forming a chain, heavily wrinkled. Leaves about 7-11, forming a fan, the lower leaves sheathing the stem, absent at the time of flowering. Inflorescence arising from the upper nodes of the pseudobulb, branched laxly, many-flowered. Flowers yellowish to brownish with a white lip, not opening wide. Lip entire, oblanceolate, greenish-white with brown veining, 5-7 ridges on the apical part. Spur 4-5 mm, cylindric.
