Epidendrum rigidum (Stiff Flower Star Orchid) is a species of perennial herb in the family orchids. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Bahia, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Roraima, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, Maranhao, Puerto Rico, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Caatinga, ParaíBa, Pará, The Contiguous United States, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amapá, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Rio De Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Ceará, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Sergipe, and RondôNia.
