Yucca brevifolia (Joshua Tree) is a species of tree in the family Asparagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Enoclerus spinolae, Vanessa cardui, Scott's Oriole, and Hyaline Grass Bug. Individuals can grow to 11 m.
