Sagittaria montevidensis (Giant Arrowhead) is a species of perennial herb in the family Alismataceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Pampa, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, Amazônia, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. Flowers are visited by Trigona spinipes.
