Lycalopex gymnocercus (Argentine Gray Fox) is a species of mammals in the family Canidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to The Neotropics. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 164.4 months and can grow to 619.15 mm. They have parental care (cooperative breeding and female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
