Electrostrymon angelia is resident in southern Florida, and ranges to the Bahamas, Greater Antilles and Virgin Islands. Habitats are subtropical shrubby areas. Host plant is shrubby species Schinus terebinthifolius (Anacardiaceae). Eggs are laid on the host plant singly. There are multiple flights all year (Scott 1986).
