The larvae feed on Atraphaxis spinosa, Atraphaxis replicata and Atraphaxis virgata. They feed on the flower or shoot gall of their host plant.[2]

Augasma atraphaxidellum is een vlinder uit de familie van de kokermotten (Coleophoridae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1957 door Kuznetsov.
