Pycnia chiefiy epiphyllous, usualiy few, in small groups opposite the aecia, often confluent, inconspicuous, subcuticular, extending into the walls of the epidermal cells, pale honey-yellow, discoidal, low, 80-145 fi in diameter by 25-35^ high.
