Huopaohdake (Cirsium helenioides) on asterikasveihin kuuluva Suomessa tavallinen ohdakelaji. Lehtien ulkonäkö vaihtelee, joskus ne ovat liuskaiset, joskus ehyet ja hyvin leveät. Lehtien alapuolella on harmaata karvaa. Kukinnot ovat sinipunaisia "partasuteja".
Kasvi on 50–150 cm korkea. Se on yleinen kosteilla, viljavilla paikoilla, tien pientareilla koko maassa. Huopaohdakkeella on syvällä kasvava vaakasuora juuri, johon maanmuokkauskoneet eivät yllä.
Huopaohdake voi risteytyä Etelä-Suomessa keltaohdakkeen (Cirsium oleraceum) ja Etelä- ja Keski-Suomessa suo-ohdakkeen (Cirsium palustre) kanssa.
