Found this Tortoise while on a trek last Sunday.The rustle of the leaves alerted us to this old creature.It was slowly moving underneath all theleaf litter. It froze as soon as we approached it.We 3 of us took a few shots and left the place. :-) Length: 1feet approx
The main figure is the Hawksbill Sea Turtle, but also visible in this image are two Scissortail Sargeants (Abudefduf sexfasciatus) to the left and several Blue Tangs or Palette Surgeonfish (Paracanthurus hepatus). Stamp provided by Rich Pyle.
