Found this frog resting on a leaf just 5 feet above the ground. On closer inspection its deformed limb became apparent.

Found this guy spying on me from a twig. At approx 4feet above the ground. Listed as Data Deficient since it has only recently been described, and there is still very little known about its extent of occurrence, area of occupancy, status and ecological requirements. Size: 3cm approx

Found this beautiful pair up a Guava tree, braving the heavy rain. They were so cozy and comfy in their secret little perch, perfectly blending in with the surroundings. The one on the left is the male and the other a female.These frogs are so effective in blending in. Their perch is visible only from this little gap among the leaves! No other angle or a clearer picture was possible! But I cant ask for more. I am more than happy to have found these guys in the first place :-D

With a private pool, perfect home, zero pollution and no disturbances this little guy was in froggy heaven, complete with yummy flying delicacies. Truly a frog can't ask for more... ;-)This young Winged Gliding frog male still had a tail stub.The fly seen here at the right landed on the frog's snout and KaBOOoooM, munch, munch, gobble. Now, that really was fast food.. ;-)I was in heaven watching my favorite frog and its activities... :-)Size: 2cm approx

Last monsoon me and Anoop stumbled upon a little patch of froggy heaven in Coorg. It was a nesting site for Rhacophorus lateralis!!!The male seen here just 1 among the many who were in the process of finding a mate and building nests last year.There were many adults perched on leaves. But no nest building activity took place. Few males were calling and few were just contemplating. All the females were just staring into the dark.We knew our torch lights would be a disturbance to them if we hang around. So we quickly took a few photographs and waited for a couple of hours in the dark away from the nest site, listening to all sorts of frog calls. We had found tranquility then. It was past mid night now, we had a quick check then we went back leaving the frogs in peace.Very heavy rain and wind made the trip highly enjoyable. Detailed observation can be found here:
