Scythris patiens is a moth of the family Scythrididae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1921. It is found in Zimbabwe.[1]
The wingspan is 15–17 mm. The forewings are light greyish-ochreous and the hindwings are dark grey.[2]

Scythris patiens is een vlinder uit de familie dikkopmotten (Scythrididae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1921 door Meyrick.
De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
