Mycotrupes er en slekt av biller i familiegruppen tordivler.
Middelsstore, mattsvarte tordivler. Hannen har et horn på hodet og en grop foran på pronotum, disse mangler hos hunnen. Dekkvingene er forholdsvis små og sammenvokste i midten. Forbeina har kraftige tenner på leggen, den ytterste tannen er kløvet hos hannen.
Artene er sterkt habitatspesialiserte og lever på tørre, sandete områder med åpen skog eller krattskog. De kan ete både gjødsel, eikenøtter og råtnende plantedeler som de graver ned. De voksne billene er aktive i vinterhalvåret. De kan ikke fly.
Slekten har en ganske begrenset utbredelse i det sørøstlige USA (Georgia, Florida og Sør-Carolina).
