The male of this species has a wingspan of 35 mm. Head and front are bright orange-yellow, antennae with yellow flagellum and brownish black pectinations, thorax, abdomen and legs are orange-yellow. The legs are strongly hairy.

Euproctis apoblepta is een vlinder uit de familie familie spinneruilen (Erebidae), onderfamilie donsvlinders (Lymantriinae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1953 door Collenette.
De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
