Pileus umbilicate, sometimes depressed, cespitose, 4 cm. broad; surface appressed-tomentose, golden-yellow, margin subsulcate; lamellae decurrent, broad, lurid-golden; spores broadly ellipsoid, often nearly globose, smooth, melleous under the microscope, 6-7 X 4-5 m; stipe elongate, slender, fuscous, thickened at the base, 8 cm. long, 4-7 mm. thick.
Type locality: Cuba.
Habitat: On dead wood.
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
