Eccilia cubensis Murrill, Mycologia 3:. 273. 191 L
Pileus convex, 1 cm. broad; surface darktan, darker at the disk, innate-scaly, not striate; lamellae decurrent, rather distant, broad, dirtywhite to slightly pinkish; spores octahedral, irregular, 7-9 m; stipe cylindric, paler than the pileus, slightly granular-floccose, 2 cm. long, 1 mm. thick.
Type locality: Herradura, Cuba.
Habitat: In a thicket on the bank of a stream.
