Suillus fuscotomentosus Thiers & A. H. Sm. 1964

Suillus fuscotomentosus is an edible species of mushroom in the genus Suillus. Found in western North America, it was described as new to science in 1964 by mycologists Harry Delbert Thiers and Alexander H. Smith. It usually grows under three-needle pines, such as ponderosa pine and Monterey pine.^[1]

Поширення

Росте у соснових лісах на заході США (Каліфорнія). Утворює мікоризу із соснами Pinus radiata, Pinus attenuata, Pinus ponderosa.

Опис

Шапинка від темно-коричневого до кремового забарвлення, у діаметрі 4-15 см, плоска, краї шапинки криві. Ніжка завдовжки 4-7 см, 2-3 см у діаметрі жовтуватого кольору. Спори розміром 9-11х3,5-4,5 мкм, еліпсоїдні, коричневого забарвлення.
