r: Ui/ set, but not closely imbricated, spreading, 'narrowly linear, projecting below the attachment to the stem but not "clasping," glabrous, slightly glaucous, 6-15 mm. long; inflorescence cymose ; flowers shortpedicelled or subsessile ; sepals linear, slightly unequal, quite distinct ; petals white or somewhat tinged with red, linear, acuminate, distinct, 3 mm, long ; carpels spreading in age.
Type locality : Rio Blanco, Jalisco, Mexico. Distribution: Jalisco.
