Amastus scriblita Dognin
Amastus scriblita Dognin, 1911b, p. 11.
Forewing 36.0 mm. Head and tegulae brownish orange. Patagia brownish orange, with greyish red fringes. Rest of thorax brownish orange. Forewing brownish orange. Hindwing pale yellow. Segments 1–4 of abdomen orange-red dorsally, 5–7 brownish grey. Abdomen greyish orange ventrally.
Described from two females from Tochesito, Quindin, Colombia. The paralectotype is in the USNM collection.
Lectotype ♀: “Tochesito, Quindiu [sic], Colombie, 3,000 mètres; Type No. 30398 U.S.N.M.; Dognin Collection; 9.09, Tochesita, Quindin, 3,000 m.; Amastus scriblita Dgn. type ♀; Lectotype ♀: Amastus scriblita Dognin By A. Watson 1967; Arctiidae genitalia slide No. AW557.”
