The length of the shell varies between 50 mm and 110 mm.
This marine species occurs off Northwest Australia.

Amoria ellioti is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Volutidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1864 door G.B. Sowerby II.
