Helcogramma capidatum és una espècie de peix de la família dels tripterígids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 3,7 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 15 m de fondària.^[4][6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pacífic (incloent-hi Indonèsia, Fiji, Niue i la Samoa Nord-americana).^[7][4]

Helcogramma capidata, known commonly as the hooded triplefin, is a species of triplefin blenny in the genus Helcogramma.^[2] It was described by Richard Rosenblatt in 1960.^[3] This species is widespread in the western Pacific Ocean from the Mariana Islands east to Samoa, Fiji and Tonga; it has been recorded from Sabah too.^[1]

Helcogramma capidata is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de drievinslijmvissen (Tripterygiidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1960 door Rosenblatt.
