Helcogramma hudsoni (Jordan & Seale 1906)

Helcogramma hudsoni és una espècie de peix de la família dels tripterígids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 4 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 3 m de fondària.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de les Illes Izu (Japó)^[6][7] fins a Vanuatu, Fiji, Salomó i la Samoa Nord-americana.^{[8][4][9][10]}

Helcogramma hudsoni, known commonly as the Hudson's triplefin, is a species of triplefin blenny in the genus Helcogramma.^[2] It was described by David Starr Jordan and Alvin Seale in 1906,^[3] the specific name honouring the illustrator of their monograph on Samoan fishes, R.L. Hudson.^[4] This species is found in the western Pacific Ocean where it has been recorded from the Izu Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Savo Island, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, and Samoa.^[1]
