This marine species occurs from 37°N to 35°S; 97.5°W to 36°W. Parvanachis obesa is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Columbellidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1845 door C. B. Adams.
