Conus anabelae is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.[1]
Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.
The size of the shell varies between 15 mm and 30 mm.
This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean off Angola.

Conus anabelae is een in zee levende slakkensoort uit het geslacht Conus. De slak behoort tot de familie Conidae. Conus anabelae werd in 2001 beschreven door Rolán & Röckel.[1] Net zoals alle soorten binnen het geslacht Conus zijn deze slakken roofzuchtig en giftig. Zij bezitten een harpoenachtige structuur waarmee ze hun prooi kunnen steken en verlammen.[2]

Gatunek opisali po raz pierwszy Emilio Rolán i Dieter Röckel w roku 2001. Nazwa gatunkowa anabelae upamiętnia Anabelę, córkę Framcisco Fernandesa, która wraz z ojcem zebrała okazy służące jako holotyp i paratypy[2].
U holotypu muszla mierzy 23,3 mm długości i 13,1 mm szerokości. Ogólnie długość muszli wynosi 18-29 mm; stosunek szerokości do długości 0,66-0,78. Otwór biały, podłużny, im bliżej skrętki, tym węższy. Barwa tła jasnobrązowa, miejscami jaśniejsza lub ciemniejsza, muszla opasana jest biegnącymi spiralnie pasami lub kreskami[2].
C. anabelae występuje endemicznie na wybrzeżach okolic Namibe; łączna długość linii brzegowych wynosi 50-60 km[1]. Spotykany w płytkich wodach, pod skałami lub zakopany w piasku. Wraz z tym gatunkiem występują Conus filmeri i Conus fuscolineatus[2].
