Trigonopterus dacrycarpi is a species of flightless weevil in the genus Trigonopterus from Indonesia.[1]
The specific name is derived from that of the conifer genus Dacrycarpus.[1]
Individuals measure around 2.36–3.06 mm in length. General coloration is rust-colored, darker on the top of the head and pronotum, and bronze tinted in the center of the elytron.[1]
The species is found around elevations of 1,270–1,730 metres (4,170–5,680 ft). It is found in Batu Dulang and Tepal on the island of Sumbawa in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara, and around Mount Ranaka and Lake Ranamese on the island of Flores in the East Nusa Tenggara province.[1]
T. dacrycarpi is part of the T. dimorphus species group. The two populations (from Sumbawa and Flores) have a 7.5–9.7% p-distance difference, but have no morphological differences.[1]
The species feeds on the conifer genus Dacrycarpus, and may also feed on other plants that grow in proximity to Dacrycarpus.[1]

Мелкие нелетающие жуки-долгоносики, длина от 2,36 до 3,06 мм; в основном буровато-чёрного цвета с бронзовым отливом (лапки и усики коричневые). Тело выпуклое с явной перетяжкой между грудкой и надкрыльями. От близкого вида Trigonopterus sasak отличается деталями строения гениталий самца и бороздчатостью надкрылий. Крылья отсутствуют. Рострум укороченный, в состоянии покоя не достигает середины средних тазиков. Надкрылья с 9 бороздками. Коготки лапок мелкие. В более ранних работах упоминался как «Trigonopterus sp. 329»[1].
Вид был впервые описан в 2014 году немецким колеоптерологом Александром Риделем (Alexander Riedel; Museum of Natural History Karlsruhe, Карлсруэ, Германия), совместно с энтомологами Рене Тэнзлером (Rene Tänzler; Zoological State Collection, Мюнхен), Майклом Бальке (Michael Balke; GeoBioCenter, Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Мюнхен, Германия), Кахийо Рахмади (Cahyo Rahmadi; Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Research Center for Biology, Cibinong[en], Западная Ява, Индонезия), Яйюк Сухарджоно (Yayuk R. Suhardjono; Zoological Museum, Cibinong Science Center - LIPI, Jl. Raya Jakarta-Bogor, Индонезия), осуществившими ревизию фауны жуков рода Trigonopterus на острове Ява и окрестных островах. Видовое название происходит от имени дерева Dacrycarpus, на котором новый вид был обнаружен[1].
