Stromata effuse, more or less cottony, covering the host ; perithecia numerous, immersed, with the necks slightly protruding, darker than the subiculum ; asci cylindric, 60-75 fjlong; spores 1-seriate, ellipsoid, slightly smaller toward the base, hyaline, 1-septate, 7-8X3//.
On Tremella.
Type locality : Ohio.
Distribution : Known only from the type locality.
