Velociraptor was a member of the theropod family. It had long front arms and long back legs. The hands and feet each has three (3) long claws. On its feet, the third (3rd) claw was sickle shaped, like a crescent moon. They could not retract back into its skin, like cats, but they could move backwards. The sickle claws are not known as 'retractable'.
