Acropentias papuensis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by George Hampson in 1919.[1] It is found in New Guinea.[2]
The wingspan is about 22 mm. The forewings are pale fulvous brown with slight dark irroration (sprinkling). The hindwings are white, tinged with fulvous brown.[3]

Acropentias papuensis is een vlinder uit de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1919 door Hampson.
