Schistura és un gènere de peixos de la família dels balitòrids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.[2]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àsia: Turquia,[3] Síria, l'Iran, el Pakistan,[4] l'Índia -Arunachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur,[5][6][7][8] Nagaland i Meghalaya-,[9] el Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Birmània, la Xina -Guangdong, Yunnan, Hong Kong i Sichuan-,[10][11][12][13][14][15] Cambodja, el Vietnam,[16] Malàisia i l'illa de Borneo, incloent-hi els Ghats Occidentals,[17] l'Himàlaia i les conques dels rius Irauadi, Indus, Helmand, Salween, Mekong, Lam, Roig, Chao Phraya i Brahmaputra.[18][19][20][21][22][23]
