Labeo quadribarbis Poll & Gosse 1963

Body nearly rounded; lips plicate; snout rounded, convex, without transverse furrow nor fleshy appendix at the end; eyes in lateral position; genital orifice far from origin of anal fin; two large pairs of barbels; one lateral dark brown band on each flank (Ref. 26192).

Labeo quadribarbis is a species of fish in the genus Labeo. It is known only from the Middle Congo River in Africa.

The species has a nearly rounded body, rounded snout and two large pairs of barbels. They pose no risk to humans.
