Sarangesa lucidella, commonly known as the lucidella elfin, is a species of butterfly in the family Hesperiidae. It is found in Ethiopia, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and from Kenya to Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Botswana.[2] The habitat consists of shady banks of culverts.
Adults are on wing from July to October and from January to May. There are distinct seasonal forms.

Sarangesa lucidella is een vlinder uit de familie van de dikkopjes (Hesperiidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1891 door Mabille.
