Quercus poilanei is an Asian species of tree in the family Fagaceae. It has been found in northern Indochina (Thailand and Vietnam) and also in the Province of Guangxi in southern China.[3] It is placed in subgenus Cerris, section Cyclobalanopsis.[4]

Quercus poilanei Hickel & A.Camus – gatunek roślin z rodziny bukowatych (Fagaceae Dumort.). Występuje naturalnie w północnej części Tajlandii, Wietnamie oraz południowych Chinach (w regionie autonomicznym Kuangsi)[3].
Rośnie w wiecznie zielonych lasach. Występuje na wysokości do 1300 m n.p.m. Kwitnie i owocuje w kwietniu[3].
